In the testing and feedback collection (3 users and 1 expert) of the Clothing Upcycling prototype, users, including those with diverse fashion preferences, responded positively to the app. They appreciated the platform's intuitive design and personalized upcycling options, which empowered them to creatively repurpose old garments. The app not only streamlined the upcycling process but also encouraged a more sustainable, confident, and informed approach to fashion, fostering a sense of accomplishment and eco-consciousness among users.

The apps available in the market primarily focus on reselling secondhand clothes or offering basic recycling options. However, there is a gap in platforms that specifically cater to clothing upcycling and sustainability by connecting users with designers and household creators for transforming old garments into eco-friendly, trendy pieces. Recognizing this, we’ve chosen to focus our efforts on building a solution that not only promotes sustainable fashion but also creates job opportunities for small-scale designers and household women, pick-up service, Quick DIY's for old clothes making upcycling accessible, rewarding, and integrated into daily fashion choices.

To gather both quantitative and qualitative data, we conducted a survey with 24 participants to understand users' challenges and experiences with clothing upcycling. Additionally, we held semi-structured interviews with 3 designers, 2 household creators,1 expert in sustainable fashion and 5 eco-conscious users. to explore their pain points, frustrations with existing platforms, and needs related to upcycling, job opportunities, and sustainable fashion practices.
